The Print

Eckert’s photographs are printed on Kodak Endura Pro Papier paper (the highest quality photo paper available for museum quality prints at 220 g/m²) using a OCE Lightjet 500 XL printer which employs traditional photochemical methods for museum prints. The photo paper is mounted to 3mm acrylic finished with a 3mm Alu-Dibond back. The glass protects the photo from fading, dust, and scratches. The artwork is UV-protected and archive-proofed for 75 years.

The Frame

The black matt frame is a solid wood frame with shadow gap (Schattenfuge). This frame design provides a 15mm “shadow gap” between the print and the frame to create the illusion that the print is floating.

The Back

To insure the integrity of his one-of-a-kind series, each picture within a series has on the back its own separate serial number which is protected by a holographic seal. The numbers are imbedded and cannot be cloned or re-printed. The seals are glued to the aluminum back of the bonded mounting. Any attempt to remove the holographic seal will destroy the hologram.

The artwork is signed on the back.
